Directions to the Blue Heron Inn
|
|
Please be aware that the Inn is NOT located in Rigby. The inn is approximately 3.8 miles north of Rigby. There is major road construction going on near the inn. DON'T rely on your GPS to find us! Please follow the directions below:
Driving from the south on Interstate 15
As you come past Idaho Falls, take the U.S. Hwy 20 exit to Rigby and Rexburg and follow the directions below.
From the Idaho Falls airport
As you exit the airport, you will be traveling south on North Skyline Drive. Drive south 3 blocks to the first stop light. Turn left at this intersection onto U.S. Hwy 20 and then follow the directions below.
Driving from the south on U.S. Hwy 20
As you approach Rigby take the SECOND exit, North Rigby Exit 322. Watch for the orange detour signs that will direct you to the Blue Heron.
Driving from the north on U.S. Hwy 20
The Blue Heron will be on your left hand side as you pass Yellowstone Bear World and cross the Snake River Bridge. But due to the construction, you will have to continue south to the North Rigby exit 322 (approximately 3.8 miles). Take a left turn at the top of the ramp and follow the orange detour signs to the inn.
Driving from the north on Interstate 15
Take the Roberts exit and follow the signs to Idaho State Hwy 48. Take Hwy 48 to Rigby. In Rigby, make a left turn at the first stop light and a right turn at the second stop light. Follow this road (Main Street/Farnsworth Way) which will eventually parallel U.S. Hwy 20. Continue on the frontage road (Yellowstone Hwy) crossing over U.S. Hwy 20. Just around the bend, there is an orange Blue Heron Inn detour sign. Watch for the other detour signs along this road to reach the inn.
